The News Broadcasters & Digital Association's (NBDA) president, Rajat Sharma, has chosen to resign from the position. The CEO of ABP Network, Avinash Pandey, will take over the position.
Sharma is likely to ask the board to pick a new President after serving as the head of the largest organisation for news broadcasters for the previous six years on a volunteer basis because he wants to concentrate his efforts on developing new programming. Soon, Sharma is going to bring back his venerable programme Aap Ki Adalat. He actually led the broadcast profession while serving as president of the NBDA, and he made attempts to broaden the fraternity's acceptance of younger members and encourage healthy competition.
The largest association of news broadcasters in India, formerly known as the News Broadcasters Association (NBA), changed its name to News Broadcasters & Digital Association (NBDA) on August 13, 2021. Almost all of the main news networks in the nation are members of the NBDA, the largest association of news broadcasters. The NBDA supports editorial standards that guarantee reporting's impartiality, neutrality, fairness, and accuracy.
