Q2 Revenue From Conventional Media Increases By 8.7%: Shemaroo

In comparison to the same quarter in the prior fiscal year, Shemaroo Entertainment's operational revenue has increased by 19 per cent to INR 146.6 crore for the quarter that concluded on September 30.

While conventional media has an 8.7 per cent gain in revenue to INR 82.7 crore, digital media has seen a 36 per cent increase to INR 63.9 crore. The business attributed the rise in sales to its digital and television operations.

Over 123.1 crore to 133.7 crore, expenses grew by 19 per cent from the previous year. From INR 10.2 crore to INR 12.8 crore, EBITDA increased by 25.7 per cent.  From INR 2.8 crore to INR 3.4 crore, net profit increased by 23 per cent.

The company has stated in its investor presentation that the beginning of the holiday season has seen a moderate increase in ad spends. The business, however, predicts that ad spending will remain constrained due to worries about inflation, impending global recessions, and a decrease in funding for new-age advertisers.
