In a clear statement of commitment to clients and growth in Asia, PHD announces the official expansion of DRUM into Asia-Pacific. DRUM, a branded content and creative agency, will be headquartered in Singapore and will operate at the intersection of advertising and media. Specialising in combining audience and data insights, DRUM will apply their creative rigour of advertising to produce content with cultural impact for brands.
Following DRUM’s successful run in New Zealand, where it bolstered PHD’s capabilities in areas such as media partnerships, social media and influencer marketing as well as public relations, the further expansion into Asia-Pacific will evolve the agency’s offerings and expertise, as well as service the increased client demand for creative solutions. Over the last 12 months, DRUM has been instrumental in helping PHD accelerate its growth mandate, successfully contributing to new business pitches, including recently added global client, Diageo.
“This expansion is a clear commitment to drive growth, creativity and service our increased client demand in the Asia-Pacific region,” said James Hawkins, CEO, PHD, Asia-Pacific. “With DRUM present across more parts of Asia, we are able to better service our clients and collaborate at scale with brands on specialist partnerships, media content and creative services, where clients can tap into the skills and knowledge from expert ‘DRUMMERS’ at the forefront of international trends and best practice.”
“PHD is focused on creating and harnessing ideas that make instrumental leaps for our clients, and we have seen tremendous success in seeking non-traditional solutions and using culture to help brands connect with their audiences in real, relevant and authentic ways,” he added.
As an agency driven by a culture of creativity and collaboration, this expansion into Asia-Pacific aligns with PHD’s vision of enabling brands to make the leap above their competitors through the innovative use of media communications and data-inspired creativity.
“DRUM, as part of the PHD network, specialise in making content and communications that make brands a valued part of culture. Expanding the brand and our own creative culture into the Asia-Pacific region represents a hugely exciting development in the on-going success and growth of the network,” said Luke Southern, Global Managing Director, DRUM. “I’m thrilled that DRUM will be enabling brands across Asia to further capitalise on creative services, branded content and culture to reach audiences that helps clients make the leap in achieving disproportionate growth,” he added.
