To serve as an innovation hub for HORECA professionals and educational institutes, Monin has launched its first-ever 'Experience Studios' in India. The flagship facility that spreads over 3,500-sq ft was inaugurated in the Dhan Mill complex, New Delhi. As part of its Make in India commitment, the company also has plans to more centres across the country.
Speaking at the launch of the Studio, Monin India's MD, Germain Araud said, “We are eager to expand in India and once we have a well-established Studio, we will expand our footprint here. The Studio will act as a catalyst to exchange creative ideas and discover new applications catering to the Indian palate and bring together stakeholders of the beverage industry.”
The Offerings
The Experience Studio, also known as the House of Innovation will showcase experimentation with flavours and applications. It will act as a hub of learning and help clients with technical knowledge about the products, techniques of beverage presentation as well as suitable food paintings. Partners will also get to learn about the art of creating the best quality drinks while maintaining costs using high-quality Monin products. “The clients will be a mix of F&B professionals, students, bartenders, baristas and mixologists among others. They will have a chance to savour several beverage innovations, and partners can showcase their talent through personalised menu curation sessions,” shared Araud.
The Marketing Manager of Monin India, Rohit Singhavajhala also shared, “India has a very vibrant F&B industry with taste palates changing every 100 kilometres. The Studio will be a testing centre where unique applications will be launched - from hot coffee in the mornings to frozen yoghurts and desserts later in the day. The opening of this Studio is just the beginning of our ambitious plans."
At present, entry to the Experience Studio will be only through invites for a more holistic experience for the clients. The company plans to conduct several innovative and industry-related programmes at the Studio.
Monin had earlier opened its wholly-owned subsidiary in Hyderabad with a 40-acre manufacturing site. It also has an exclusive in-house R&D centre in Hyderabad that researches the Indian palate. With more than a hundred partners across its distribution network, the brand is now strengthening its presence in India.
