Manjari Upadhye has been appointed as the Chief Marketing Officer for Mahindra & Mahindra's automotive business. In her new role, she will oversee marketing strategies for Mahindra's Internal Combustion Engine product portfolio, including digital marketing, public relations, and Mahindra Adventure Initiatives.
With over 25 years of experience in marketing, sales, ecommerce, and P&L management across various sectors, Upadhye has held significant roles at consumer brands such as Colgate, Ocean Spray, PepsiCo, and Mondelez. Her most recent position was CEO of Welspun Living's domestic business, where she managed portfolios encompassing home textiles and advanced textiles.
Reporting directly to Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO of Mahindra & Mahindra's automotive business, Upadhye's immediate focus will be on leading the launch of the 5-door Thar, scheduled for unveiling on August 15th.
