The Coca-Cola Company names Sagar Sharma as Senior Director, Central Operations

Sagar Sharma, formerly Senior Director, Growth Strategy, India and SW Asia, has been elevated to Senior Director, Central Operations at The Coca-Cola Company.

In a LinkedIn post, Sharma mentioned, "I look forward to driving growth, fostering strong franchise partnerships, and bringing refreshing experiences to our consumers."

He began his career at Aricent and subsequently worked at Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting and GSK Consumer Healthcare India. 

As the Senior Manager of Marketing for Digestives in the Indian subcontinent at GSK Consumer Healthcare India, Sharma oversaw strategy, marketing execution, P&L, and product innovation for Eno. He led a strategic shift in the brand's growth priorities and segmentation, identifying key growth opportunities and implementing a new communication strategy. Additionally, he redefined the role of digital marketing for Eno.

PVR Inox’s CFO Nitin Sood bids farewell 

Nitin Sood, Chief Financial Officer, PVR INOX, has departed from the company. His last working day is 31 July.

He cited in his LinkedIn post, “After an incredible journey of 22 years at PVR INOX, I have decided to move on. Working at PVR INOX has been a truly rewarding and fulfilling experience and I have had the privilege to work with some incredible colleagues, collaborating on various challenging projects and witnessing the growth and success of the company first-hand over the last several years.”

“It has been an honor to lead such a dynamic and innovative team, and I am immensely grateful for the experiences, challenges, and successes we've shared over the years,” he continued.

As CFO, Sood's primary responsibilities encompassed providing business support to the CEO, spearheading corporate finance initiatives such as capital raising from banks and institutional investors, managing banking relationships, investor relations, leading M&A opportunities, and overseeing financial control, accounting, and compliance for various group companies. He also led a team of over 60 finance and accounting professionals nationwide. 

Sood commenced his career at Escorts Finance and also worked at Dimensions Consulting. 

Paytm's CHRO Swati Rustagi decides to move on

As per reports, Swati Rustagi, who served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Paytm, has put down her papers and is currently in her notice period. According to the report, Rustagi is expected to join Adobe.

Rustagi, who took on the role at Paytm in 2023, began her career at Hindustan Unilever and has held positions at DSP Merrill Lynch, Johnson & Johnson Medical, Patni Computer Systems, Max Healthcare, and Amazon.

Since 2008, as the Director of Human Resources at Johnson & Johnson Medical, Rustagi led HR for the surgical care businesses, which accounted for 70 percent of J&J Medical's total business in India. She also oversaw specialist areas including recruitment, learning and development, talent management, and employee engagement. In 2009-2010, she had the opportunity to lead work in compensation and benefits for J&J India.

Bharatendu Kabi of Hero MotoCorp steps down after 2-decade stint

Bharatendu Kabi, Head of Corporate Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Hero MotoCorp, has decided to move on from the company after nearly two decades. Kabi announced his departure in a LinkedIn post.

Kabi joined Hero MotoCorp in 2005, following a six-year tenure at PepsiCo. In his LinkedIn post, he expressed gratitude to Hero MotoCorp's CEO Niranjan Gupta and Executive Chairman, Pawan Munjal.
