Gautam Kamath to transition to Global Corporate Strategy role at P&G
Gillette India has reported that Gautam Kamath, Director and Chief Financial Officer has tendered his resignation. As per the company, it will be effective close of business hours of October 31, 2024.
Additionally, Kamath will be moving onward to a new assignment as Vice President - Corporate Strategy in the P&G Global Headquarters in the U.S.. The new role will be effective from November 1, 2024.
With nearly 18 years at P&G, Kamath has held various leadership positions across multiple regions, including his recent role as CFO for P&G's Fabric & Home Care in the Asia-Pacific region in Singapore and previously served as several senior finance roles in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and Singapore.
Srividya Srinivasan to take charge as CFO for Gillette India
Gillette India has appointed Srividya Srinivasan as Chief Financial Officer of the company along with the charge of Additional (Executive) Director. As per the company, the appointment will be effective from November 1, 2024. Srinivasan will hold office as Additional Director up to the ensuing Annual General Meeting.
The company revealed this in their board meeting. However, the appointment is subject to the allotment of the Director Identification Number by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
Srividya Srinivasan has a Bachelor of Computer Science Engineering, from Anna University, Coimbatore, India and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business.
She joined P&G in 2005 in the United States of America and has since worked across various roles delivering outstanding results for several P&G businesses as well as serving various markets, including the USA, Latin America, Philippines. An alumnus of the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia, she currently is the Vice President & Head of Global Business Services and Global External Reporting in P&G Philippines.
PHD elevates Rohan Tambyrajah to Global Chief Experience Officer
Rohan Tambyrajah, who led PHD as chief strategy officer, has been elevated to the position of global chief experience officer. He will also handle the responsibilities of chief strategy officer.
As the former global group strategy director, Tambyrajah was part of the management team of the Unilever Global Strategy Unit. He headed a team of 16 Strategists, with three Strategy Directors and two Innovation Directors as direct reports. He was responsible for strategic leadership across 3 of Unilever's 4 'super' categories (Food, Refreshment, HomeCare) which covers a portfolio of €bn household brands such as - Persil (DiG), Magnum and Hellmann's.
Tambyrajah started his career at the Copyright Licensing Agency and went on to work across JCDecaux, i-level and Havas.
Mukesh Gupta resigns from ITC's Board of Directors
Life Insurance Corporation of India's Mukesh Gupta has resigned from the Board of Directors of ITC as Non-Executive Director, effective October 27, 2024.
On October 24, 2024, the Board recommended the appointment of Siddhartha Mohanty, CEO and MD of LIC, as a Non-Executive Director for three years, effective January 1, 2025. If appointed, Mohanty will represent the Life Insurance Corporation of India.
Gupta joined LIC in 1984 and retired as Managing Director in 2021 after 37 years of service. His roles included Executive Director (Personnel) and Executive Director (Bancassurance) at the corporate office, as well as key positions in three major zones, including Zonal Manager of the Central Zone.
Gupta currently serves on the Boards of IDBI Bank Limited and CFM Asset Reconstruction Private Limited. He holds a bachelor’s degree in science and an MBA in human resources.
