Ogilvy’s B. Ramanathan returns from Ogilvy Asia Pacific
Ogilvy has reported the return of B Ramanathan from Ogilvy Asia Pacific back to Ogilvy India. Ram joins back as the Chief Client Officer of Ogilvy India.
Over a 29-year illustrious career, Ram has donned many hats. His stint in Ogilvy is now in its 24th year, 16 of which have been spent in various business and office leadership roles across markets in Ogilvy India.
Before rejoining Ogilvy India, Ram’s last role was as the Chief Marketing Officer of Ogilvy Asia and the Global Brand Leader – Mondelez, based out of Kuala Lumpur. He had also been instrumental in driving the growth and transformation agenda for Ogilvy Indonesia as its Group CEO.

Zepto elevates Devendra Meel to Chief Business Officer
Zepto has elevated Devendra Meel to Chief Business Officer, effective July 2024. He will spearhead category management and foster brand partnerships, ensuring optimal assortment, pricing, availability, and growth of all core categories on the platform. Before Zepto, Meel, an IIM-Bangalore graduate, led special initiatives at Zomato and Jio.

Licious' Vice President - Marketing Santosh Hegde moves on
Santosh Hegde, who led Licious as VP- Marketing, has moved on from the company.
Before joining Licious, Hegde was the director of marketing at Disney+ Hotstar, from February 2021 to January 2022. He also has a seven-year stint on his resume with FMCG giant Marico, where he held the position of brand manager.
Jindal Stainless appoints Mohit Taneja as Head of Marketing
Mohit Taneja, who led Vedanta as Group Head - Brand, Digital and ESG communication, has joined Jindal Stainless as the Head of Marketing.
Taneja began his career at Motorola Mobile Devices and went on to work across The Times of India and Adidas Group.
As the assistant brand manager of Adidas India, he created and deployed integrated marketing strategies at brand, segment and company levels. He looked into media planning and buying, and social/digital marketing. He looked into planning and execution for new product launches.
His skills span brand strategy, corporate communications, digital, public relations, market research, advertising, media planning /buying and consumer/ retail/ luxury marketing.
