As the Cannes Lions Festival unfolds today, the stage is all set for a week of celebration, networking, and knowledge sharing. The Cannes Lions Festival is a space for showcasing the best work in the industry, inspiring creativity, and sparking debate about the future of marketing and advertising.
Day 1 of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity begins today, 19th June 2023, at the Palais in Cannes, France, and will continue till June 23.
On the first day of a jam-packed schedule, powerful seminars and workshops will be at the top of the agenda. The first seminar will be on the Creative Marketer of the Year, which will be led by Marcel Mancondes, Chief Marketing Officer at AB InBev. Mancondes is a two-time Creative Marketer of the Year award recipient. The day will come to an end with the announcement of the winners of several categories.
The winners of various categories are expected to release today. The awards honouring the best creative work in the category of health will include Healthcare Agency of the Year, Healthcare Network of the Year, Pharma Lions, Health & Wellness Lions, and Health Grand Prix for Good. Moreover, the classic category honouring the best creative work will comprise Radio & Audio Lions, Print & Publishing Lions, and Outdoor Lions.
A total of 45 shortlists among multiple categories have been announced for India.
13 jurors from India have also been enlisted in the jury line-up for the 70th edition of Cannes Lions namely, Farishte Irani, Aalap Desai, Sukesh Nayak, Garima Khandelwal, Anupriya Acharya, PG Aditiya, Swati Bhattacharya, Rajdeepak Das, Hemant Shringy, Josy Paul, Aditya Kanthy, Valerie Pinto and Ahmed Aftab Naqvi.
