Business News category became the top gainer of the week according to Chrome LIVE Week 51'22. The category has increased by 0.47 per cent in 6 Metros. CNBC TV18 had the highest OTS with 81.0 per cent, followed by CNBC Awaaz (76.0 per cent) in second place and ET Now (74.5 per cent) in third.
The second-placed genre was infotainment, which saw growth of 0.10 per cent in the All India 1 Lakh+ market. With 89.0 per cent, History TV18 had the highest OTS, followed by Animal Planet (87.2 per cent) in second place and Discovery (87.0 per cent) in third.
Hindi Movies gained 0.05 per cent in HSM excluding <1 lakh market, placing the genre in third place. Sony Wah had the highest OTS with 93.7 per cent, followed by Zee Anmol Cinema in second place with 93.0 per cent and Star Utsav Movies in third place with 92.8 per cent.
With a 0.5 per cent increase in the All India market of one lakh+ market, the kids' genre climbed to the fourth spot. Sony YAY! received the greatest OTS with 90.6 per cent, followed by Discovery Kids in second place with 83.6 per cent and Nickelodeon Junior in third place with 82.1 per cent.
According to Chrome Data Analytics & Media, OTS is the real census-based, per cent connection of a channel across 76.16 million homes on Digital Cable and DTH.
