Tata Motors’ CMO Vinay Pant Steps Down

Vinay Pant, chief marketing officer at Tata Motors, has decided to exit the organisation in less than two years of joining. Pant joined Tata Motors in December 2022.

Pant previously worked for Maruti Suzuki for over 15 years, having started there in June 2007 as the head of consumer analytics. Before that, he was the strategic planning manager for Hero MotoCorp earlier in 1996. Additionally, he served as the South Asia regional research manager for Reckitt Benckiser for three years.

He has also worked for Hero MotoCorp, TNS NFO, GfK, and IMRB International in the past.

Pant is an alumnus of BITS Pilani.
