T20 World Cup India-SA Final: Disney+ Hotstar's Viewership Touches 5.3 Cr

The concurrent viewership for the final between India and Australia in the ICC Men’s World Cup (50-over format) was 5.9 crore

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 final between India and South Africa saw a peak concurrency viewership of 5.3 crore simultaneous viewers on Disney+ Hotstar.

This was much higher than the India-Pakistan match, which touched 2.9 crore peak concurrency on the official streaming platform.

However, the official viewership numbers for the finals are yet to be out.

India's victory in the T20 World Cup 2024 final, marking their first win in 13 years, captivated audiences globally.

The concurrent viewership for the final between India and Australia in the ICC Men’s World Cup (50-over format) was 5.9 crore.

Disney Star had roped in over 19 sponsors for the tournament.

This edition of the T20 World Cup had the highest number of participating teams (20) with the highest number of games (55).

Disney Star had offered tiered ad pricing to advertisers. The asking price for both SD and HD feed for all matches stood at Rs 6.40 lakh. The 28 key matches were priced at Rs 11.25 lakh, while the six India and knockout matches-plus 12 prime time matches were priced at Rs 13.80 lakh.

All India and knockout matches were priced at Rs 26.50 lakh. The broadcaster had sought Rs 4.50 lakh for the key non-India matches (prime-time).
