Suresh Narayanan, the present chairman and managing director of Nestlé India will retire on July 31, 2025, following an extraordinary 26-year career with the Nestlé Group.
Manish Tiwary has been proposed to succeed him as Nestlé India's managing director, effective August 1, 2025. The company stated in an exchange statement that the proposal is contingent on receiving the required approvals.
Tiwary is a renowned business leader with almost thirty years of expertise in managing strategic projects and large-scale operations in the consumer goods and e-commerce industries.
Tiwary was the country manager for Amazon India in his prior position. After 20 years at Unilever, where he had positions in sales, marketing, and general management across a variety of categories & channels in India, the Gulf, and North Africa, he joined Amazon in 2016. Tiwary holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, as well as a B. Tech in computer science.
As of right now, Tiwary has director positions at More Consumer Brands and Amazon Digital Services Private Limited. On October 30, 2024, he will resign from both positions. Manish is not connected to any Nestlé India directors.
