Hero Motocorp Opens Pitching For Its Media Account

The account was estimated to be worth Rs 600 crore in earlier reports

Hero MotoCorp has opened its media account for pitching, claim industry reports. It is learned that the motorcycle and scooter manufacturer is seeking a media investment business for media planning and procurement. Publicis Media is currently in charge.

Following a competitive pitch, Publicis Media was awarded the mandate in 2019, encompassing traditional and digital media responsibilities. A custom platform called ‘Team Hero MotoCorp’ (Team HMC) had been developed by Publicis Media. The media account was estimated to be worth Rs 600 crore in earlier reports.

Dentsu India received the integrated media mandate for Hero MotoCorp's upcoming mobility brand, Vida, in 2022. The brand's worldwide full-funnel marketing, encompassing digital and performance marketing, was part of the mandate. Dentsu was also tasked with overseeing Vida's performance and branding efforts.

Industry insiders claim that Hero Motocorp's integrated media mandate is the subject of the proposal. It's not clear if Vida is included in it.
