Jyotiraditya Scindia Takes Charge As Minister Of Communications
He succeeds Ashwini Vaishnaw who is now the Minister of Information & Broadcasting, Railways, and IT
Jyotiraditya Scindia has assumed leadership of the Ministry of Communications under Modi 3.0. He has also been named the Northeastern Region's Minister of Development.
He served as the Minister of Aviation in the previous Modi administration. He succeeds Ashwini Vaishnaw, who is now the Minister of Information & Broadcasting, Railways, and IT.
In an interview with the media, he stated that the telecom and India Post divisions had a significant role to play on both the local and international stages.
In addition to finishing the 5G spectrum auction that is due later this month, his duties as the next telecom minister will also include resurrecting the state-run telecom company BSNL and resolving MTNL's debt problems.
