YRF Talent appoints Kanupriya as head of talent film strategy

YRF Talent has appointed Kanupriya as the head - talent film strategy.

Kanupriya, ex-CEO of Colour Yellow Films, has been a producer working in the Indian film industry for over 15 years. She is recognised for her notable contributions to producing films like Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Tumbbad, Manmarziyaan, Newton, and many more. Throughout her career, she has shown a strong interest in bringing unique and disruptive stories to life.

In this new role, Kanupriya will be heading the films division within YRF Talent and leading strategic relationships between artists and studios, producers and platforms for the actors represented by YRF Talent.

 

JioCinema appoints Ishan Chatterjee as chief business officer

JioCinema has named Ishan Chatterjee as its chief business officer. Chatterjee’s appointment reflects JioCinema’s commitment to accelerate its transformation into a tech-enabled company, delivering cutting-edge, seamless digital experiences to its rapidly expanding user base.

As the CBO, Chatterjee takes charge of overall monetisation for JioCinema. In this role, he is responsible for revenues from sports, and SMB revenue growth across sports and entertainment. Ishan joins JioCinema from YouTube India where he served as the managing director and played a pivotal role in shaping the platform's strategy and growth in the country. With over two decades of experience, including 13 years at Google, Chatterjee has also had a remarkable journey with McKinsey and Hindustan Unilever. He is an alumnus of The Wharton School and St. Stephen's College, Delhi.

Chatterjee will play a key role in JioCinema’s leadership team and will closely work with Kiran Mani.

 

Shantanu Gangane joins The Coca-Cola Company as IMX lead

Shantanu Gangane has joined the The Coca-Cola Company as its IMX (integrated marketing experience) lead.

In a recent LinkedIn update, Gangane expressed his excitement, saying, "Super stoked to share with you a new chapter that has started in my life with The Coca-Cola Company as IMX (Integrated Marketing Experience) Lead. Grateful for the amazing mentors who have supported me. It's been a month and I couldn't be more excited about the challenges and growth that lies ahead along with an incredible set of leaders and teams who power this iconic organisation."

Gangane brings over two decades of marketing expertise to the global beverage giant, having worked with some of the most prestigious companies in the industry.

Prior to this role, Gangane served as head of North Labels & VP- marketing at Universal Music Group. 

With a career that spans iconic brands like Viacom18 and Radio City, Shantanu Gangane is no stranger to navigating the complexities of marketing in the media and entertainment space. His robust experience includes senior marketing roles for Nickelodeon and other high-profile platforms.
