Quick Commerce Firms Record High Sales On Holi

Quick commerce firms, including Zepto, Swiggy Instamart and Blinkit, experienced a significant increase in sales during this year's Holi festival. 

Albinder Dhindsa, CEO of Blinkit, noted that the company achieved its highest-ever orders and orders per minute on Sunday, surpassing the previous record set on Valentine's Day. 

Notably, the sale of gulaal, a popular item during the festival, broke last year's record, according to Dhindsa. Swiggy also reported a spike in orders per minute, with Instamart selling over five times more flowers than last year. 

Zepto observed strong sales of juices and mixers throughout the day, particularly as customers gathered for house parties in the evening.
