Omnicom Media Group Agencies Take Top Spots At Cannes Lions

OMD Worldwide is the Cannes Lions Media Network of the Year 2024, while PHD Worldwide takes the second place

The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity celebrated the Media Network of the Year on June 19, marking the midpoint of the week-long festival. Omnicom Media Group agencies have taken both the first and the second spots this year. OMD Worldwide takes the top position while PHD Worldwide claims second.

OMD won the honour for the third time in the last seven years, the most recent one being in 2022 and before that in 2017.

In 2023, WPP’s Mindshare was Media Network of the Year.

Cannes Lions decides the Media Network based on companies who obtain the most points for shortlisted and awarded entries. The companies credited in the Media Placement role in Media Lions also accrue points.
