In the third quarter compared to the second, Facebook parent company Meta Platforms Inc (META) implemented more guidelines than before, according to the independent body.
A quarter million requests were received worldwide by the oversight board during the three months ending on 30 September.
The corporation assembled the panel of academics, legal professionals, and rights experts to make decisions on a small number of complex appeals involving content moderation, as well as to provide advice on site policy.
Meta is nevertheless obliged to respond to it's policy suggestions, usually within 60 days, even though they are not legally enforceable.
The oversight board reported that 27 per cent of its suggestions were fully or largely carried out by Meta during the third quarter as opposed to 21 per cent the quarter before.
Earlier this month, Meta proposed changing its approach to exempt famous users from its rules, claiming that the practice favoured the powerful and business considerations may affect how content is chosen..
In July, Meta also asked the oversight committee for input on possible changes to its current approach in view of the betterment in trustworthy information sources and growing public awareness of Covid-19.
