Media reports suggest that Amazon has selected WPP, Omnicom Media Group and IPG Mediabrands for their global media mandate pitch process. According to reports, Amazon had shared its brief last month.
The ecommerce giant is currently represented by IPG Mediabrands. The media agency won its account in 2013, which it maintained in 2017. IPG is reportedly servicing Amazon till 2024, until the new directive goes into effect in 2025.
Publicis Groupe was in charge of Amazon's media account before 2013.
Amazon reportedly spent $20.6 billion on advertising and promotion in 2022.
