IMI Releases Growth Playbook For Music Industry
‘Vision 2025 – The Show Must Continue’ is the 2021 annual report published by IMI (Indian Music Industry). The report encapsulates various themes that summarise the state of the recorded music industry in India over the course of the year.
For its recent edition, Vikram Mehra, Chairman, IMI, in his state of the industry address, showcases India’s regional diversity in music. The foreword by Blaise Fernandes, President & CEO, IMI, speaks about the surge of short-form video apps in the music ecosystem and the misuse of safe harbour provisions. Frances Moore, CEO, IFPI, highlights ‘The Investment Opportunities in India and what is lacking to attract more investments’.
